Meeting twice per week online, we will dive into the terrain of our own sacred humanity through the Seven Powers of Mary Magdalene’s gospel and teachings.
For almost 2000 years, key scriptures of the bible were missing. And these scriptures added a very different layer to the teachings. Over 50 years, three copies of the ‘gnostic gospels’ were discovered in different locations, all in Egypt. Inside we find the missing half of the bible, steeped in reverence of the feminine and outlining our path to the Divine, within our own hearts.

With Mary as our guide, we will retrace the Red Thread to discover The Kingdom of God within, to soften in surrender and devotion to the everlasting Love that hums from the core of our reality.

Each week we will dive into one of the powers, shadow diving to utilise the flip side superpower it contains.

Darkness: makes us feel alone, cut off and disconnected from those we love

Mary Magdalene & The Red Thread
So many stories have been told about who she was, we will follow the threads and see what resonates within us. The Magdalene is a 'monad' soul, the original spark of the feminine that exists within us all. This is why many on the path she laid feel that 'I am She.' When we devote to the Divine as she did, our destiny unlocks. When we read her words and feel her essence, we experience a homecoming. Hers is our story. And she exists within us. This is the lineage of the Red Thread.

The Left Handed Path of Christ
Mary and Yeshua were an enlightened couple that moved through the world teaching that the Kingdom of Heaven is within. They were radicals, reclaiming spirituality from the state, communing with God and allowing themselves to be guided by the Highest Light to allow more of it to anchor onto the earth. Gnosis is direct revelatory experience with Holy Creator. These are the original teachings of what the movement was prior to the advent of ‘Christianity.’ In this container we will be journeying the LEFT handed path of Christ - the feminine way, where we descend through the pain body and into the light. They attempted to destroy our feminine our lineage. The holy power and portal of our womb was threatening to patriarchy, we know God intimately within through holding the power to birth and so we had to be outcast, damned, shamed and silenced. Mary Magdalene holds this archetypal energy – the other side of Christ, rewritten into history as a disempowered and dirty prostitute, the ultimate 'sinner' . When we look a little deeper, we find the perfect remedy to the patriarchal energies still rife on the planet today. Ain't got nothing on us when we've got MM as an ally ;)

Joan of Arc & the Templars
The Templars were devoted to Mary and many suggest that their mission was to rediscover the lost scriptures of the bible we have now found. We will access their wisdom and history through the story of our beloved Joan of Arc, argued to be a Templar Knight. A devoted 'Christian' who heard and followed voices that led her to her destiny - to lead the entire French Army and end the Hundred Years War. She was burned at the stake for heresy before being recognised as a Martyr. Her codes are also anchored in Occitaine & will be shared as we journey.​

Embodying the Portal
Sacred sites across the world are devoted to Mary Magdalene but particularly in Glastonbury and Southern France. Her teachings demonstrate what we already know as women, the body is a portal. Our sensual, sexual energy is sacred. We drip with holy waters and those pools of light we transcend space and time, dissolving back into God. We can choose to lose ourselves to our humanity and forget the divine. We can choose to deny our humanity and meditate into light. But the Path of the Magdalene is about embracing both aspects. Becoming the Anthropos, 100% Human and 100% Divine.

Throughout our journey we will be gathering fragments, as that is the puzzle that has been left for us. But the beauty of the Gnostic path is that as we gather the fragments, we are gathering pieces of ourselves - it was never an external search. This is a journey of soul reclaiming and the essence of what it means to be a woman, to embody the sacred womb entrance to the Mystery.

About your host
The Magdalene calls to us all from inside ourselves, she finds us when we are at a crossroads, when our faith has been tested, when we are ready to deepen onto our path of devotion. Hers is a story of redemption and holy defiance, a path to God filled with wild, passionate humanity.

My first initiation into her heart was during the second and most powerful wave of awakening I have experienced. I was in Bali, with my beloved teachers Malaika Darville and Amma Sophia Rose. I'd just journeyed into the heart of the womb mysteries and there she was. Instantly I knew her. Finally Christianity made sense. There was space for wildness within it, within me. It was then, in 2016, that I became Jyoti and life hasn't been the same since that point.
​
The second wave of her calling to me was in 2022. I was in Lesvos, Greece on an Osho tantra training. I am not a devotee or disciple of any human so there were elements within what I was experiencing that didn't align with me. I ended up venturing off on my scooter to clear the air and saw a tiny sign for a chapel that I followed. Literally half an hour later I found myself up the mountain, overlooking the most glorious ocean confronted by a series of chapels painted floor to ceiling. And across the walls time and time again, there she was - the Lady in Red. Her story painted and preserved on those walls. The mystery there plain to see.

A few months later I went to Mexico, initiating myself in the temples that were once my home. I couldn't believe how Christian the Yucutan had become. My heart was broken when I'd heard that one of our temples had been dismantled & its stone used to build the cathedral. In my despair I took off on a walk to the ocean, a vision quest so to speak. I followed my intuition walking off into the unknown and eventually found myself approaching a little open air community gathering space. The gate was open so I went in. There, directly in front of the sparkling ocean was Mary.

I later realised that close to my hometown in Bradford, UK, was a road called Mary Magdalene Street. I couldn't believe it and off I went to investigate. At the end of the road was a church! And there children were pouring out (if you don't know me, alongside being a temple priestess, I also run a youth organisation which at this point hadn't been birthed). I couldn't believe it and so went inside to discover a beautiful man that led Mary Magdalene C.I.C. - an organisation supporting teenagers in need, a safe space of community and inspiration, similar to what I'd birth just the following year.
She leads us to our destiny if we allow.
The life I was leading recently crumbled and for the first time in many years there was nothing for me to hold onto to find my feet or direction, yet there she was. Awaiting my return. "Come to me," she said. And so I decided to put everything I own in storage and drive to Occitaine in Southern France, to the land she landed upon following her persecution.

Of late I am surrounded by women coming to know her for the first time & it felt only right that I open a container for us to deeper into Her together, whilst I am planted in the holy soil from where she ministered from. I am staying under an hour from her cave, where she is said to have been lifted up by the angels seven times a day.
​
This will be a special journey but only She knows what it will mean, for any of us.
